Super 8 London On

Our visit was terrific the food was excellent. The staff and service were wonderful. One of my favourite fish & chip restaurants in the city. I recommend this place to all my friends and I know they have recommended it to their friends too

Well I know that this was not going to be a fancy hotel but I did expect it to be clean. The front desk didn't seem to care. It started off with the revolting smell in the halls, but carried over into the rooms. The hotel was booked with a block of rooms for a team sporting event. On of the team mom's went and bought Swiffer wet wipes(thankfully there were no carpets in the rooms) When I washed for the 30 min after check in and brought the wipes to show the front desk... His response was sorry. They were black and had tons of hair on the 3 cloths. It didn't stop there... The were burn holes in the bedspread, ripped and broken curtains, mouldy bathroom, holes in furniture, one pillow per queen bed, no towels for the pool, ice dispenser had not worked in ages. Like I said the hotel feels grimy.

For what I paid got what I was expecting. Room needs some deep cleaning. Steam cleaning carpets and sofa would go a long way to improving the appearance of the facility. Maybe update the tv's to something with HDMI compatibility. On the upside staff was very friendly.
