HAMPTON INN BY HILTON TORONTO-

We have stayed in many Hampton Inn's over the years and have always been very pleased, but this Hampton Inn was disappointing. The check-in and front counter staff were wonderful as well as the breakfast. We stayed in room 205. Walking to the room we noticed that the hallway appeared not to have been vacuumed in days with debris in many places on the carpet. After I got in bed something bit my ankle, but I did not give it much thought. The next morning there were red marks on my other foot. Once back in the states I had it looked at and was informed that they were bed bug bites.

After staying 2 nights downtown, we moved closer to missausaga to visit family. Hotel was clean, breakfast was good with lots of options. Check in and out was easy. Friendly staff. Big lobby area. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows. Had the option to stay until 2 if needed at $20/ hour for late flight or hangout in the lobby for free. Unfamiliar with using the train, we decided to UBER downtown for $55 and use BOUNCE storage service located all over for our 4 suitcases $36 for the day. I would stay here again.

We booked the Hampton Inn very last minute for one overnight due to some construction work at our house. Our room was #205. This hotel was located close enough to our neighbourhood and extra curriculars that day so it was convenient. I used my Expedia points to pay for our stay and I would say it was on the pricier side for a week night. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) booked a standard room with 2 queen beds. I requested a cot a check in but was told none were available. We found the room temperature extremely warm and had to turn on the AC to make it more comfortable. We used the small pool for a quick after dinner swim. We liked the readily available coffee, tea, and hot chocolate drinks in the lobby and were lucky enough to snag a few cookies for a snack. We found the beds way too soft and saggy. The whole mattress would shake if someone in the bed turned or tossed. I had a pretty sleepless night. The showers had plenty of hot water and decent pressure. The buffet breakfast was simple - scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, along with made to order waffles. The kids enjoyed this very much. Check in/out service was friendly and efficient. Free parking on site was appreciated. I would not choose to stay here again. It was adequate for one night only.
