HAMPTON INN TORONTO/MISSISSAUG

This place is workshop for renovation, horrible entrance, full of building materials as if you are in industrial shop. Full of labour noise from early morning till late afternoon. I totally advice everyone to avoid such a place.

I pride myself in finding value priced hotels. The Edwards Inn definitely fits that bill. Great location, clean, parking/wifi internet/breakfast included in the rate. A USB charging station on the desk. Toothbrush and toothpaste along with the normal shampoo, soap and body wash. Decor is dated, but no big deal. Comfortable room with a king size bed, desk and lounge sofa. All for $74/night. Note: the common areas are being renovated between Dec. 2, 2019 and January 31, 2020. So the front desk area and hallways are a temporary disaster. But the updated décor will be nice when they are done. And there is no impact on the rooms.

We arrived and the staff was not sure where our booking was. The hotel receptionist went to find someone on break and said he was unable to help us until this person came back after there break was finished. The hotel is under significant construction, to the point that I am surprised they are still open. There is construction debris and garbage everywhere. The room is dated. I would not recommend this at all.
