Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel and Suites

My wife and I chose the hotel because we were looking for a place to stay at Toronto airport. We arrived from Frankfurt on Saturday evening and had our connecting flight via Nassau to South Andros on Sunday morning. After having to wait about 40 min. for the free shuttle, we were told at check-in that we had to take the elevator down - basement level! The room had been modernized, but could not hide the year of construction (70s). Overall a "dark hole" with a view of an embankment and the parking lot above it with floodlight poles. We could barely sleep, as the heating also kicked in loudly every 20 min. In total, we did not sleep for an hour that night. The reception was not very friendly. Perhaps they were also annoyed by the numerous conference guests - just like us. I would not book this hotel again, even for one night. I must say, for me this was also the last time I book a Hilton hotel. You should not offer such rooms to your guests. It would be better used as a storage room.

We stayed at this hotel about six months ago, and unfortunately it felt noticeably more worn this time. The room looked quite used, with visible signs of wear that made it feel less fresh than I remembered. On the positive side, the service was good. The staff were friendly, efficient, and made check-in and check-out easy. Cost quite acceptable as well! Overall, it’s a convenient choice for an overnight stay before or after a flight, thanks to its location near Toronto Pearson Airport. However, the hotel would benefit from some room updates and refurbishment to match the standards expected of the Hilton brand.

Had to stay one night. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is basic airport. Very close to the terminal. Breakfast is adequate. From the reception to the room there is a considerable walk. Lives to Hilton standard.
