Nu Hotel Toronto

I got bitten by bedbugs, honestly not worth it even for a one night stay. My skin was crawling and I even left earlier than my shuttle to the airport. The side of the headboard was loose and the outlet on it didn't work and neither did the lamp. The hairdryer was broken, and the bath had stains in it.

BED BUGS. Full-blown, rampant infestation. Live bed bugs, discarded casings, and dark, smeared fecal spots peppered along the seams. The rest of the room was equally revolting. NU Hotel YYZ needs to be shut down by public health inspector immediately. Save your health, your skin, and your sanity—stay ANYWHERE else.

New ***BEWARE**** this hotel is not only atrocious, with mold, mildew and who knows what else peeling the wall plaster off, they have the worst customer service I have yet to encounter. I emailed the staff regarding cancellation of a reservation two days prior to the stay, and was told in writing that there will not be a charge nor will my park and fly reservation be affected. Therefore, I did not stay. I contacted the hotel to confirm the refund and was shocked to find out that they will no longer honour the refund! The agent was incredibly rude, would not allow me to get in a word, continuously ignored my remark about the written proof of a refund, hung up on my mother and had no desire to rectify their error. Save yourself the time, money and frustration and DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
