Newmarket Inn

Friendly reception Had a big room 2nd floor of the pool building. Nice grounds .lots of flower gardens and ponds with fountain. Beds were a bit hard but the room was quiet. Shower was updated to glass stall. Air conditioning was fine. Free coffee in reception was great and the free muffins and orange juice were great. We will return.

We stayed at the Newmarket Inn as a result of the ice storm. We are from Orillia and no hotels were either open or would accept us to stay because we had two little parakeets. Fortunately, we were able to stay here. It was clean, , very affordable, friendly staff and, will definitely come back again. We are so grateful that we were able to stay there or else our little birds would have died, Staff is amazing and we must have more motels/hotels like this one.

Very simple continental breakfast but I saw this in reviews and for the price of the hotel this was not a deal breaker. (Muffin, Nutra-grain bar and a bottle of OJ) Adding in a yogurt would have been nice for some protein, or hard boiled eggs). The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable, but the pool was nice and warm. The hot tub was out of order sadly. Also, the fish tank was cool, and a nice/unexpected surprise. The room was a little noisy with kids running and it echoed in our room. For the price and convenience to the hockey tournament we were at, this was a good option.
