Days Inn Lundys Lane

I booked this hotel the same day as our stay. Spoke with the front desk multiple times that same day. We arrive at 7pm after 4 hours of driving with a baby, to find an extremely rude hotel front desk agent telling us that we have "been upgraded" to a different hotel. The wording "upgraded" means that; I booked this hotel for a specific reason (to be close to family members) but yet show up to find that this hotel is being falsely advertised and the booking option online is misrepresented on Expedia. The biggest issue I have is why could no one call me to tell me that the hotel is closed? Why did no one say this to me when I spoke with the front desk 3 separate times that day? Why did I have to go out of my way to then drive another 4km down a super busy road to find the right hotel? Don't sell it to me and say "I got an upgrade?" We ended up having to drive all weekend which we were not planning on doing as we choose this hotel for its location. I have spoken with the hotel and no one seems to give two craps. I have asked for a refund for all the inconviceneces this weekend and was told NO. This is by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Beyond disgusting way to treat your local Ontario customers (customers who are trying support our local economy). I will never return here again or the hotels that are affiliated. DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SHOW UP TO A CLOSED HOTEL.. No one even offered an apology.

Although it was a cool weekend weather wise, it was a long weekend and the hotel was full. The pool was too cool temp wise and noisy each time we went down. Our room was warm though. Internet and tv both worked well. Wish they had a fridge and microwave in the rooms. Check in/out was quick and friendly.

Our room was decent and clean. Real bummer that our jacuzzi was broken. I was really looking forward to that. Also I knew we had to pay for parking but it was a bit pricey to add on to the cost of your hotel room as well. Breakfast is not included but an ihop is beside the hotel. They do have a shuttle to take you to popular resterants but it was not on time and we had to drive to make it on time for our reservation. One good thing, if you want to do shopping it's right next door to an outlet mall.
