Best Western Orangeville Inn And Suites

Reception staff very good, generally the hotel was clean and nice, the only couple of things that let it down was breakfast was served on paper plates and plastic knives and forks , we felt like we were at a kids party, I don’t know what the reasons for this was as we had it for both days , not the sort of standard you would expect from a Best Western Hotel ! They have let the side down here, as a member of BW I expect better.. tables in dining legs had bits of tissue put underneath them to stop them rocking because of uneven floor, just a few plastic feet would sort it out. A bit disappointing that this things are not picked up by the general manager. Poor choice for Vegans , no margarine.

Older hotel that’s been let go. Water is yellow/brown and smells like waste water. Lots of debris in water maybe from industry in the area and/or farms. Didn’t get a photo of the floes before killing them but did have time to capture what appeared to be mucus on the walls before leaving.

Room was nice, comfy, clean and spacious. Looking closely there's signs of age and needs some repair (wallpaper sections that had previously been replaced and needed repair again) but overall, felt modern and good condition. Room came with kitchenette which was helpful (mini fridge, sink, counter, coffee machine, tea cups, plates, cutlery, and cabinets to store). Living room area was comfy and spacious. TV is weirdly between the beds and seating area but its on a swivel table so its actually great to use comfortably in both rooms. Bed was comfy and clean with lots of pillows. Two complaints: the pool (while warm) had slightly murky water and the women's change room did NOT have a baby change table. Second, the ceiling had a fire detector or something that had a REALLY bright flashing light. Laying on your back with your eyes closed, you can see it in the dark. Its quite disturbing to try to sleep for the bed closest. Overall, a good experience. Staff were helpful and friendly and we were comfortable!
