Extremely unimpressed. When did they kart upgrade this hotel, the 1980s. The carpet is warm, the wallpaper is peeling, the decor is so uninspiring it’s offensive. I checked into my room and felt instantly depressed.

Stayed for 4 nights in a 2x double bed room with club lounge access, with our two kids. The pros: Great location, great swimming pool and fitness facilities including a squash court, the club lounge breakfast and evening hours doeuvres were very good. The cons: the rooms are very small, with the bathrooms the smallest I’ve ever seen outside of a cruise ship. I would say uncomfortably small for more than 1 person staying. The room doors are very noisy when closing - you can hear every door on the floor slam closed while you are trying to sleep. And there is a gap around the door outline so the light from the corridor comes in. Walls and ceilings appear to be thin you can hear a lot from adjoining rooms. The cons aren’t anything the regular staff can fix - it’s the physical design of the rooms themselves.

Bathroom is so small you can barely turn around in it. There was cold food and rotten bananas for breakfast in the Club Lounge. My card didn't allow me access to the Club Lounge until I went to complain twice. All around, this hotel is not what you'd expect from Marriott.
