Best Western Sioux Lookout Inn

This will be the second time I’ve stayed here. The rooms are modern and clean, the beds are comfy. Amenities are fairly good. The ground floor seems a bit noisier than the 2nd floor, I think probably due to the tile floor. So noise was definitely heard during the early evening, it was not excessive. Nothing heard overnight The thing that prompts me to give a five start rating is that the staff are so personable and helpful, every single one of them. This is the only place I’ll stay when I’m town.

Went to Northern Ontario, to Sioux Lookout. Went for a wedding, and stayed at frog Rapids fishing camp. They have a dozen cabins that sleep 23 or four, fridges showers kitchens, screened in porches, and barbecues. Launch your boat right outside your door, and or fish right off the shore in front of your place. It’s rustic, but it’s all clean easy to get to and Adell and Larry are the greatest people you’ll ever meet. It’s an hour and a half north east of Dryden Ontario. Met a few good people from Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, and yes, even some Canadians. Awesome, if you get a chance, and like to fish, head up to Sue Lookout Ontario and give Adell and Larry a try.

No microwave. Paper thin walls. Don't restock coffee in the room. No pool. After 6 nights in the hotel, I learned from my coworkers that I was supposed to have a microwave in my room as they do. I enquired at the desk about getting one and they said to check back in a little bit. When I asked about a microwave that I was supposed to have as advertised, they stated they had none. I asked to be moved to a room with a microwave and they said I would have to upgrade to a king. They never restocked my coffee for my coffee pot in the room. The rooms have very thin walls. There is no pool and there is no warm breakfast. I will be checking out and moving to the hotel across the street where each room has a microwave. It made no difference to the hotel when I stated our company will be working in the area for months to come. If you choose to stay here, make sure your room is away from the stairs and elevator.
