Amity Court Motel

Large clean accommodation with separate bedroom, 2 televisions, kitchen, and a bright airy outlook. Seems to be double glazed as quiet overnight, with friendly and helpful managers. Great location on the edge of town, with a supermarket nearby. Easy access to roads to East Mount Egmont National Park and the Dawson Falls and other walking tracks. One of the best places we stayed in New Zealand.

My sister and I stayed here on January 13th, and have to say how very impressed we were. We were agreed that, having stayed in many very good mid-range Motels all across New Zealand over the years, this was the best one. The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. The Beds were very comfortable, the Bathroom large and well equipped and the Living and Kitchen facilities excellent, great value for money. The Management and Staff were friendly and polite and helpful. There was also no traffic noise, despite being fairly close to State Highway 3. If/When we are in Stratford again, this is where we will stay.

We were stuck in the road closures due to flooding & slips on main highways. So would not arrive til midnight. Our room was kept and on arrival we had been given a room code by text in advance to enter our room. It was warm , milk in the fridge and a blessing after a hell drive. The rooms were modern, spotless and everything you could need. 2 Tv's in our unit, a magazine ,pen, nice selection of hot drinks and superb bathroom soaps and hair wash. Lawns & Grounds were well maintained .Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Only bad thing which was my own fault for not checking when booking, my partner has a struggle walking, I should of booked a downstairs level unit and will in the future, we will certainly stay again - Well done Amity Team
