Valley Inn Motel & Suites

Visiting family in Azilda and the Valley Inn was super convenient (walking distance) to where we needed to be… rooms were clean and bathrooms have been newly renovated. AC worked great and TV channels were plentiful. Breakfast is offered although we didn’t utilize this because we met family each morning but have heard good things about the selection! We would stay again!

After a long day of driving from Thunder Bay, we booked this hotel for a one-night stay. We honestly weren’t expecting much, but we had quite an enjoyable night! Bed was comfy, air conditioning worked, and the room was clean. The decor was hilarious - felt like we had walked into a 1970s time warp - but everything was in good condition. My only complaint was the very strong stench of the plug-in air freshener, which we immediately unplugged - but as someone who is somewhat sensitive to scents, I found it a bit overwhelming until we had aired the room out.

Reasonable rates, room was clean and comfortable. Wifi struggled to stay connected but it wasn’t a huge deal. Breakfast had the usual options of cereal, toast, etc. One thing I really appreciated was the soft tissues. In so many hotels I’ve had to blow my nose with what feels like sandpaper. Another surprise was the several pieces of gym equipment available.
