Holiday Inn Express Woodstock South

I had a very comfortable stay at this Holiday Inn. The facilities were all new and good quality. My room was bright and clean, and furnished with a TV, a bar fridge & microwave, and a working desk. The bathroom was clean and the shower provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The breakfast bar was impressive. The food was surprisingly good, and there was a lot of variety: hot food included both scrambled eggs and cheese or western omelettes, bacon, sausages or sausage patties, pancakes, toast, and oatmeal. They also had cold cereal, fruit, and yogurt. The hotel has a nice workout room and a large swimming pool with a curly slide that the kids will love. And it is well located, just off the highway yet near a couple of grocery stores and restaurants/fast food places, and maybe 10 minutes straight north to reach downtown Woodstock. Southside Park is just around the corner; it's a beautiful area to check out at any time of day. I don’t have much call to visit Woodstock, but I would definitely look at staying here again if I do.
