Stay away from this place let's just say bed bugs and unsafe rooms with no windows big enough to get out of blood all over the blankets and pillow cases let's just say the first room I got offered was 100 square feet the bathroom was so tiny and no closets and no escape routes KEEP AWAY

My brother and his friend stayed at the “Charlottetown Inn and Convention Centre” (the former Best Western) this past week. He booked online from Toronto. Due to his limited walking capacity, he had to stay in a handicapped room which charged him $225/night (he’s 77 years old). He discovered a MOUSE in his room at 2 am last night but didn’t report it because he was afraid they’d just move him to another room in the middle of the night and he wasn’t able to do that. I contacted the hotel today and was told there is no manager on all weekend. This is August in PEI and I am disgusted. I have emailed Tourism Visitor Services and Tourism Marketing; also the Guardian. I just want to spread the message NOT to stay here

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Stay at Charlottetown Conference & Inn We had a wonderful stay at the Charlottetown Conference & Inn during our trip to PEI, and it was a great home base for exploring the island. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. Everyone we came in contact with, from the reception team and housekeeping to maintenance, was pleasant, helpful, and professional. It really created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Pooja Tamang at reception, who was professional, friendly and welcoming. Since we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our anniversary trip even more special. Our room was clean, comfortable, and newly refurbished, and the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and other amenities. We rented a car and used the hotel as our base while exploring PEI. We visited Cavendish, Green Gables, Cavendish Beach, St. Dunstan’s Basilica, Point Prim Lighthouse, Basin Head Provincial Park, Victoria-by-the-Sea, and walked along the Confederation Trail. The location made it easy to explore many of the island's beautiful sights. After five days in PEI, we continued our journey to Halifax. We took a taxi to the Wood Islands Ferry, crossed to Nova Scotia, and then took the bus to downtown Halifax, where we stayed at the Four Points near the waterfront. Overall, our stay at the Charlottetown Conference & Inn was a wonderful part of our 10th anniversary vacation. The clean and newly refurbished rooms, convenient location, thoughtful anniversary upgrade, and, most importantly, the friendly staff throughout the hotel made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to Pooja and the entire team for making us feel so welcome. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would happily stay here again! ❤️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
