We arrived around 3:30 PM. We are informed that our room is on the second floor and that there are stairs. I notice that my spouse has difficulty climbing the stairs, but the receptionist does not offer to change our room. I want some ice, but the two machines are not working. I inform the front desk, but I am told that nothing can be done. I see that the motel sells wine. I therefore request two glasses of wine. Once again, I am told that they do not have any.

Do not stay at this property if you value basic guest safety or honest billing. I booked a specific multi-bed room layout as a Priceline VIP member. The hotel failed TWICE to deliver the correct room layout.When I checked into a second assigned room at 2:00 a.m. after an 8-hour window, it still lacked the promised layout. The staff rolled in a makeshift folding cot that was improperly assembled. While I was fast asleep, the heavy frame structurally collapsed, throwing me violently onto the floor. I was forced to repair their equipment in the dark just to get through the night. The next morning, housekeeping aggressively breached our confirmed 1:00 p.m. late checkout, repeatedly knocking on the door and forcing us out at 12:15 p.m. To make matters worse, they posted an unauthorized charge of $18.98 to my account post-checkout, which my bank (KOHO) had to force a chargeback reversal on after verifying the hotel's error. Corporate has admitted fault by issuing a partial refund on the booking, but they are completely ignoring the physical safety hazard. Unsafe equipment and dishonest administrative practices. Avoid this property.

The front desk staff were polite and friendly. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was easy to find although there was construction going on which made it a little confusing. It was easy to get into Montreal. It was a perfect stop over on our way to Quebec City
