WelcomINNS Hotel Ottawa

Stayed at this hotel for one night with some family for a funeral. Booked the room directly with the hotel, it was a good rate. The hotel is in a good area. It was a pleasant experience. Mira was very helpful with the booking and was there at front desk when we checked in, after 10pm. She was kind, helpful and very customer service oriented. A real asset to the property. The room was updated, recently renovated, simple but effective decor and was very clean. The breakfast which was included in the stay, but was a bit chaotic as there was a group tour, however a variety of options to eat and was decent and did the trick. The person working the breakfast room (didn’t get her name, I wish I was able to name her here, she worked the morning of Saturday September 26 ), she was extremely helpful and was very nice. She kept replenishing the foods as required. She made the chaos a bit more manageable, pleasant and did it with a smile. The parking was free and no issues. Overall, a good short stay, met our expectation for the purpose and I would return back here to stay in the future.

We arrived in the room and were very disappointed with the condition. The room was old, stuffy, and had an unpleasant smell. The mattress was completely worn out, and the room did not appear to be very clean. Additionally, the window would not open, making the room even more uncomfortable. Overall, we were very disappointed with our stay.

The room was very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and shower were good. The only complaint was the amount of noise that could be heard from adjoining rooms and the hallway. It seems therer was no noise insulation installed in the walls. We could hear people talking through the walls and the doorway.
