Le Kandahar

This is a very smart and attractive building for a Holiday Inn, built round a nice swimming pool and garden. We had a large room overlooking the pool. Our only criticism of the room is that the hot water took absolutely ages to come through. The experience was spoilt by the really awful buffet breakfast, not much choice and cheap ingredients. Probably typical for Holiday Inn Express, though. Good value for Tremblant, I suspect.

We recently spent several very enjoyable days in the lovely, comfortable, and conveniently located Holiday Inn & Suites Tremblant. First, the location is fabulous, right next to the gondola, and on a corner between the road and the pedestrian walk-way. There is indoor parking available for guests at a cost, and it is very convenient. The hotel itself is spacious and clean, and offers a very comprehensive included full breakfast every day, as well as free ski lockers for all guests. Everyone who works at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Our room had many amenities, and the bed was large and soft. Our room looked out onto the street and the mountains, and had a great view. There was a hot tub for guests to use, which my husband enjoyed after skiing all day. There are also oodles of shops and restaurants all in walking distance. The price was very reasonable, and it appears some groups also choose to book here, as everything was very organized. The Holiday Inn is a smart choice for those who want to stay right on the mountain, and leave the car safely parked away, but not break the budget.

Ample, quiet rooms. Infra structure ok, it's old and you can see, but it's not something that affects the experience. It is the only option that includes the daily breakfast. It is a simple but very functional buffet. The pool was closed when I went (winter) and the jacuzzi is small (maximum capacity 7 people).
