Candlewood Suites Montreal

Location was great. Close to lots of restaurants. Rooms are a good size and view is nice but very worn. Bed was comfy but sofa bed was not. Not the best value in town. Was very quiet, though, and staff was very polite and helpful. Gym was great, the business center was large, and although we didn't use it the access to bbq and outdoor seating was a nice bonus.

Full disclosure: I do work with Hôtel Saint-Laurent as their photographer, but I promise this is not a paid “the lighting was flattering, so here are five stars” situation. 😂 Every time I stay at the property, the experience is consistently wonderful. The entire team—from the front desk to housekeeping and maintenance—is genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The hotel always feels safe, supportive, and comfortable, which makes a huge difference when you’re away from home. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have everything I need for a comfortable stay. The beds are cozy, the full kitchens are incredibly convenient, and the location is honestly hard to beat. Old Montréal and the Old Port are right across the road, Chinatown is just steps away, downtown is right there, and the metro is close enough to get you pretty much anywhere in the city. Come for the convenient location, stay because the bed is comfy and you suddenly don’t feel like leaving. Even my dog loves it! Highly recommend!

Custo-benefício excelente. Quando chegamos, a acomodação estava com cheiro de “guardado”, mas no mesmo dia melhorou quando abrimos as janelas. Localização excelente, muito perto do metrô e de pontos de ônibus. A acomodação tinha quarto com duas camas de casal, banheiro com banheira, cozinha e armário. Máquina de lavar louça dentro do quarto e máquina de lavar roupa gratuita no térreo. As recepcionistas muito educadas e respeitosas, em especial a Celine, a quem agradeço por tudo desde ja. Fizemos praticamente tudo a pé. Somente o parque mont-royal que é mais longe, e fomos para lá de ônibus. Montreal é numa cidade muito charmosa. Um roteiro de 3-4 dias é o ideal por aqui. Excellent choice. When we arrived, the accommodation had a slightly musty smell, but it improved that same day once we opened the windows. Excellent location, very close to the metro and bus stops. The unit featured a bedroom with two double beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchen, and a closet. There was a dishwasher in the unit and a free washing machine on the ground floor. The reception staff were very polite and respectful—especially Celine, whom I’d like to thank since now for everything. We did almost everything on foot. Only Mount Royal Park was further away, so we took the bus there. Montreal is a very charming city. A 3-to-4-day itinerary is ideal here.
