We recently celebrated a family member’s 50th wedding anniversary at Villa Elina Restaurant at Château Vaudreuil. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the setting made for a lovely celebration. Unfortunately, my dining experience was extremely disappointing. I have celiac disease, and I informed the staff about my gluten intolerance before ordering. I even asked again to make sure my meal was completely safe for someone with celiac disease. Despite these assurances, I became very sick after eating. What was even more upsetting was the staff’s response when I informed them. There was very little concern or empathy, and no real effort to address the situation. To make matters worse, the payment process at the end of the evening was confusing and disorganized, adding unnecessary stress to what should have been a special occasion. It’s unfortunate because the property is stunning, but based on our experience, we would not return to eat at the restaurant. I hope they improve both their handling of food allergies and their customer service, as these are essential for guests who rely on accurate information for their health and safety.

We went to a wedding June 20, 2026. Room large very good. Shower floor caulking was black in most parts. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Ceiling looked like had water damage. Restaurant was horrible. Had a black hair in my salad their offer was a free dessert. Like no, not hungry anymore, then free coffee, um no. The dessert was less money than the salad. All in all definitely not 5 stars.

Family weekend for the grandparents' birthday. 10 people including 4 children We thank Mohamed at the reception for his kindness and efficiency, Sandro at the front desk for his attentiveness, and Luca and Bertrand in the dining room for their professional work and smiles. We had reserved 3 rooms with 2 Queen beds and a living room with a large sofa bed (very convenient with children) and a view of the lake. The total for a party. Large room perfect. Soundproofing, cleanliness, bedding, quiet central air conditioning, bathroom with shower, and 2 large flat-screen TVs. The only thing missing was a support bar in the large shower. Superb dining room. Very good Italian cuisine. Limited set menu but varied à la carte dishes. For Saturday dinner, we were assigned a beautiful room overlooking the lake to isolate us from the weddings, which did not disturb us. We could see the newlyweds parading in the gardens for photos. A true fashion show! Grandma had her cake and even a musician to sing her Happy Birthday. Nice gesture. At breakfast, Luca arrived with a muffin, a candle, and his smile. Complete buffet-style breakfast. Large waffle maker that delighted the children. Beautiful landscaped gardens by the lake. We were also treated to some geese, baby birds, and even a fox. Large and beautiful heated indoor pool, spa, and sauna, as well as a gym. The only thing missing was a game room (like foosball, pool table, etc.) for rainy days, as was the case for us. We should add an outdoor pool for the summer to enjoy the location. In summary, a perfect weekend that everyone loved. Thanks again to the staff.
