Hotel Arena Palace

Completely agree with all the negative comments. We travel extensively and have stayed in many low-end hotels in the Caribbean, but we have never encountered such a poorly maintained place. The city should review its license and consider closing it due to high health risks.

one of the worst hotels i have ever been to. room was tiny. had stains all over the carpet and on the mattress. place has a strict no smoking policy and yet it constantly smells like cigarette smoke. the room i booked was for 2 adults and i got a bed barely big enough for one person. not to mention the air freshener thing they put in my room made it so hard to breathe that i had to unplug it.. which in turn led to my room smelling like smoke... what the heck is this place

To begin with I will say that I have seen shelters for illegal immigrants in much better condition than this den, it has no elevator to climb, narrow stairs that almost do not fit by them, imagine to climb with suitcases, deteriorated rooms and in terrible condition, antique furniture, dirty sheets, spiders hanging, mosquitoes, noises, the bathroom is shared, what I did not imagine is that the shower is separate from the toilet, they are not in the same cabin, small shower where you have no space to place the clothes, besides that they are scammers, I was wrong to make another with the correct dates that was what I did and they would return my money, because two months have passed and they have not returned me anything, to top it off the owner is a Moroccan does not respond to the emails, I have sent them three and they do not listen to you, it is frustrating!!, said the worst place by far where I have stayed, I would not return even paying myself, a real house of horrors that I would not recommend even the worst of my enemies. Completely preferable to pay more and stay elsewhere.
