Gouverneur Hotel Rimouski

Having stayed in many hotels, I unfortunately do not recommend this one. We were very disappointed: - faded hotel that needs a lot of love. - very small room with an old-fashioned style that they tried to enlarge with mirrors. - No microwave in the room. - Air conditioning so noisy that we had to turn it off at night. - No soundproofing; we could hear and understand, as well as respond to, the conversations of the neighbors in the next room. - Hairs in the bathtub. - Bathroom fan not functional. We had a second reservation for the month of August (sports tournament) and we canceled it. However, the staff was courteous, the beds comfortable, and the cancellation was easy, as was the immediate refund. In August, we will pay a little more, but we will stay elsewhere. Too bad, because it is well located in Rimouski.

Clean rooms but seriously decayed building. Helping staff but only minimal services available. The wi-fi is horrible, old SD TVs, in short, a small upgrade would be required.

Was so dissapointed by the lack of maintenance of the hotel, inside and outside. The carpets in the hallways are filty, needs to be refreshed everywhere. Rooms are in poor conditions. Would not recommend.
