Clarion Hotel Quebec Ste-Foy

A good choice to be close to everything in a quiet and clean place. The service met my expectations and the staff was warm.

Although the night staff member was courteous and helpful, there appeared to be a miscommunication among the hotel staff. The night staff member informed me that my family would receive complimentary breakfast and a late check-out. However, no breakfast coupons were provided at the time. As I was unaware of the hotel's policy regarding breakfast coupons—and because many hotels do not require coupons for breakfast—I did not realize that I needed to request them. The following morning, when I spoke with the manager regarding breakfast, he stated that he was unaware of the arrangement made by the night staff member. He informed me that breakfast could only be provided if we had the required coupons. I then explained the situation to him as best as I could, using the limited French words and phrases that I am familiar with and able to understand. Unfortunately, due to this miscommunication between staff members, my family experienced unnecessary inconvenience and discomfort during our stay.

Total satisfaction for the one-night stay in this hotel. Warm welcome, courteous staff, and flexible with departure times.
