Comfort Inn (Thestford Mines)

On our way back from a family celebration in Rimouski, we decided to go to Thetford-Mines, to visit this corner of Quebec. We booked this hotel for one night and I can confirm that it was a good choice. The property is well located in the city on a main thoroughfare with restaurants and services nearby. We even had dinner on foot, at the nearby St-Hubert. This hotel is very well maintained and peaceful with good parking on site. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Our room was spacious with two very good beds, well heated, with a small fridge and a good TV with access to several networks. The bathroom was well functional and very clean. Breakfast was good with eggs and bacon in the small cafeteria. There's an ice dispenser. Please note: there is no lift to the second floor. The price/quality ratio of this property is very good. We recommend it. .

Old Pension. Little soundproof. We stayed there several years ago and the establishment was uninviting. This time, at the Given the higher Award for a room, we mistakenly thought that the Pension had been renovated. Error, nothing has changed except that it is more obsolete. Good Rating for the staff however who were courteous and attentive. Coffee offered in the self service dining room was good.

Reception clerk who clearly suggested to my partner to come join him at the back, giving him a wink and a nod, meaning "you can follow me" and the next day I I was caught looking through the patio door of our room, sticking my hands and face in the glass When I went outside he was a little further away doing the same thing in the third neighboring room.. when he saw me he hurried to go inside Throughout the stay he looked at her intensely every time we passed the reception.
