November 26, 2022 Made my reservations the day before heading to Rouyn-Noranda and when I wanted to check in, we were told our rooms weren’t ready so I asked what time our rooms will be ready, front desk said around 4pm so I went back to check if our rooms were ready around 5pm, was told NO my rooms aren’t ready, and one thing I didn’t understand was those 3 hours during the afternoon, only our rooms weren’t ready, we decided to go look for another hotel to stay at… I wasn’t treated equal by the front desk this afternoon around 2pm, a gentleman was in front of us and got everything he had asked for and me I was treated different, I thought every hotel/motel are suppose to treat every customer Equal… I get it a 1/10 how Quality INN treated us

We arrived with no notice at this hotel during a weekend snowstorm and at the height of snowmobile season. The manager, Julie, was very kind and welcoming, making sure that she gave us a quiet room at the back with a beautiful therapy tub. She also asked her staff to prioritize a room for cleaning so that we could get in earlier than the usual time, as we got there at noon. Despite the fact that the hotel was busy, Julie acted in an unhurried, courteous and super friendly manner. It helped us unwind from the very stressful drive in blinding snow. As a bonus, the hotel is very clean and nicely decorated, AND there’s covered parking. A hot breakfast was included, with lots of choice, and the hotel is attached to a restaurant for drinks and dinner. Other hotels in town were somewhat cheaper, but I’m very glad we paid the extra.

The lady working at the small restaurant was super nice with our kids. She was bilingual (English as her first language). The rest of the staff was also very nice with us; we were there for one of my relative who was celebrating her 95th Birthday and we stayed for only one night...
