Auberge des Pins Rouges

This is the place to stay when you want to disconnect from city live. You can swim, kayak or take a boat trip on the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Excellent food at the restaurant with slow but personal service. Rooms are somewhat small yet have all you need and you will be out enjoying the outdoors anyways. Friendly dogs at the property and dogs are allowed in rooms, so ideal if you want to stay with your furry friend. Only improvement suggestion: cleanliness.

My GF and I reserved a room from Friday to Sunday in August. We loved the place. very quiet, near small Natural Park and 25 mins from the main National Park. Good breakfast. Didnt not have a chance to eat lunch or dinner. The village is 20 mins away and is very limited in choices (junk food all the way!), but the food at the auberge is bit more elaborated! nice and cozy rooms. But the big plus is the warmth and amazing customer service of the hosts. My GF and I would return if ever we're in Mauricie again.
