Hotel Dauphin Saint Hyacinthe

Very good location, gathed parking. The rooms are renovated and very cosey. Breakfast included with pastries, fruits, eggs etc. I have been there four times and its a keeper for me.

Excellent location just off the highway. Warm welcome in English. Clean comfortable room. Great bed. Nice breakfast.

I tried to erase my star so I wouldn’t put any on... My opinion is about a more than execrable experience on the service side. I made a booking error with Expédia at this hotel. I booked the 28th instead of the 27th. On the morning of the 27th, realizing the mistake, my spouse called the hotel directly to move the reservation to 27. A call center answered asking for lots of information - reservation number, last four digits of my credit card, email address, cell number - and will call back or write soon. End p.m. ...no news...we call back, know nothing about the first call, we have to start saying all our information again and will call back or write...We finally go to the hotel - half empty by the way, we are out of season. The boy at the front desk knows nothing except a message mentioning that we called without any details. There's nothing he can do, we have to pay for the room on the 27th and talk to the manager the next morning. We tried to reach Expedia directly. That voicemails asking for our reservation number, can’t find it...our last four digits of credit card, can’t find...Would you like to talk to someone from customer service? Yesiiiiii....give yourself your reservation number....and we start to circle again. We were never able to talk to anyone. The hotel manager was inflexible even though they offered to pay the modification fee with Expedia. In conclusion, because we entered the wrong date into Expedia’s system for a half-empty hotel reservation, it cost us double a hotel room. Even though we realized our mistake a day in advance! Draw your own conclusions!
