We stayed here on our way to Quebec City and it was perfect. The setting is lovely and the room was very comfortable. The highlight however are the hosts, Paul and Carole who were delightful and welcoming. Breakfast was home made by Paul, a retired pastry chef and was delicious. Their suggestions for dining options were spot on and we were sad to leave. Quebec is not on many people’s itinerary but it is definitely worth a visit and a stay at Gite Aux Reves should not be missed

We stayed here, with hosts Carole and Paul, while on a week vacation in Canada, and it was a highlight of our trip. The location was wonderful for us, with the river and a nearby farm-to-table restaurant, but it was the hosts who made it special--Carole and Paul went out of their way to take care of us, to make us feel at home. The room was fine, what you expect in a B&B, and the breakfast was especially good. Complete positive experience.

We stayed overnight in this B&B as we were taking a road trip to Quebec City. It is located is a quaint small village with many historic buildings and this place is one of them. It is a red brick house built in1890 with vast veranda overlooking the river just across the street. There are many places to relax by the river too, including benches and gazebo within few steps from this place where you can spend some tranquil moments. Our room was in front of the house thus overlooking the river. Very cozy room nicely furnished with a canopy bed. All rooms are upstairs with a common area in the center where you could socialize with other visitors. The owners are very accommodating, friendly and eager to please and you can see that they are fully committed to do the best they can for their visitors. Breakfast is definitely a highlight of this stay. The owner is a certified chef and gets up very early in the morning to prepare freshly made croissants every day. He uses a traditional recipe, adding to it his improved version for toppings. Absolutely delicious! Breakfast has vast variety of items; actually we could not eat it all. Parking is from the side street, just behind the house. The local road in front of the house gets slightly busy periodically, but we could not hear any noise in our room, which was facing the road. If you are travelling through this area and want to experience the atmosphere of a small French village with very nice scenery as you continue further following the river, we recommend this place highly.
