Extremely disappointing hotel. The price is much too high for the quality offered. The room smelled bad, the furniture was damaged, the drawers were broken, and all the decor was completely outdated. The television, the bathroom, and even the general cleanliness left something to be desired. The front desk offered no solution and was surprisingly rude. To top it all off, the hotel advertises a 10% discount on its website, but the promotion does not work. It is misleading and unacceptable. I strongly advise against this hotel.

Very good stay at the Hôtel Le Président in Sherbrooke. Good value for money, especially for a family. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the large indoor pool is really a plus for the children. The hotel is well located and offers everything needed for a pleasant stay, including free parking. A good option for a family getaway in Sherbrooke.

Do not reserve this hotel. It is outdated, poorly maintained, and unfortunately, our experience with the hotel staff—particularly the front desk management—was extremely disappointing. The front desk manager, Nicolas, specifically asked me to provide photos documenting the issues with our room. I supplied the requested images, only to be told afterward that these were considered “minor issues” and that they could not assist me. For clarity, the “minor issues” included: -Stranger’s hairs found in the bed -Damp/moist carpeting throughout the room -A spilled drink and cup left underneath the bed -Debris under the bed that clearly had not been vacuumed -Towels that were visibly stained These are not minor issues when you are paying for a clean hotel room. I would also strongly recommend being very careful when booking this hotel through a third-party website. If you are dissatisfied with your stay and request a refund, the hotel may direct you back to the third-party booking company, while the third party directs you back to the hotel. You can easily find yourself going in circles with neither party taking responsibility. Based on our experience with the cleanliness of the room, the condition of the property, and especially the way our concerns were handled by management, I cannot recommend this hotel.
