The hotel is wonderful in every way! Very clean with vintage and faux-vintage furnishings reflecting the era of this historic hotel from the 1920s. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. Room was roomy, quiet, and comfortable. The restaurant is a real gem. All of our dishes were exquisitely prepared (oven-baked chicken, seared scallops, and Italian fettuccine) with tasty sauces, while the desserts were tasty without being overly sweet. The breakfast was also first rate with typical breakfast offerings, but also Banana Foster, which as delicious, and bottomless cups of coffee. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Well appointed decor throughout the hotel. We even got to see the chair that Elton John sat in during a special visit with a staff member. A very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel and entire staff did not disappoint, excellent location, spotless and charming. I will be back.

Exceptional service! Bed very comfortable. Dining and lounge food and service were excellent. Next time we would prefer a room other than on mezzanine. There were no windows to look out. Higher up with windows wiuid have been ideal.
