Tropical Inn

The room was clean. As far as the location and building and things in it like pool and hot tub it was great. The thing that will stop me from ever coming back here again is the rude staff. I called the hotel and booked my room and the girl on the phone was very rude. So when I showed up to the hotel I spoke with the manager about it and to my surprise he was just as rude and had horrible customer service skills. He was hostile and talking down to me the hole conversation. I have never been so disappointed in how I was treated at a hotel. This hotel will lose a lot of business just because of the staff I had encounters with. I do not want to put all the staff in the same category because I did speak to a few really pleasant members after and they agreed that the two individuals I had an encounter were very rude regularly. Jan 22,2026 was the date I called around 14:00. And the manager I spoke with was working Jan 25,2026 at 16:00. I hope the owners of this establishment get a chance to read this and can have a chat with these individuals because they are going to lose the hotel a lot of money

Dont ever wash your clothes in the laundry at tropical inn the machines stains all my clothes wrecked

Unless you potentially want to share a room with rodents, do NOT stay here. Hotel is very run down and outdated. Dark, dingy, musty smell and absolutely filthy chairs in the room with extremely outdated furniture. Water slide was not functional and hot tub over chlorinated. Had room 232 and kept hearing scratching while trying to sleep. Discovered mice and realized that the doors for both the hallway and balcony leave at least a half inch of space for them to run all over. When I mentioned it to the front desk staff upon checking out, all I received was a simple " sorry but it's an agricultural town." Way overpriced at almost 150 bucks to share with mice. Never again.
