The Inn on College

I booked this hotel because it was budget-friendly, but the stay was terrible. The online description was misleading. The listing did not mention that one bathroom is shared among seven rooms, and several advertised amenities such as air conditioning, breakfast, refrigerator, and coffee maker were not provided. The bedsheets were stained, and even after requesting multiple replacements, every sheet offered was also stained, leaving me with no choice but to sleep on soiled bedding. The Wi-Fi was unstable, the walls lacked proper soundproofing, and the staff were rude. Overall, the hotel felt unsafe, and the photos advertised online looked nothing like the actual place. They advertise it as a boutique hotel, but it is barely above a hostel. I do not recommend staying here.

Lets see. No where was it indicated that I would have to share a bathroom, the sheets had blood stains on them and there was no coffee or any type of breakfast. Walls were paper thin and the staff were riduculously rude and at least one had the appearance of a mental health candidate. The hotel looked very unsafe and the pictures they show on their site are nowhere close to what it actually looks like. How this motel/hotel is getting positive reviews, I have no idea - it was a horrible experience and never again...

My stay was ok. The price was very cheap. Can't complain. But you need to know what you are signing for as it won't fit everyone. It is an old house that was transformed into an inn. The walls are thin so you can hear noises even from 2 rooms away (unfortunate if they decide to hear music at 2 am ... The windows are not insulated so you can hear all cars from the adjacent busy road. Furthermore, the shades are very thin, so the lights from the nearby building illuminate your room continuously. Make sure to bring earplugs and eye covers. The room is very small and simple. It is clean but the bed is minimal and the covers are old (the pictures you will find online for this place are doing it a big favor...). Most importantly, you need to be aware that many of the rooms don't have a bathroom or shower in them. Meaning - you have a couple of bathrooms and showers in the house and they're shared by all the people in the rooms without them. Again, not a big deal if you're ready for it, but still can be inconvenient and not for everyone. During the last night of my stay, The boiler malfunctioned and there was no hot water. Not great news after a long day outside. Because it is not a hotel and it was a weekend, nothing could be done. Also, no water fountain on site so make sure you have a full water bottle with you (unless you are ok with drinking the water from the kitchen sink. No breakfast but you can buy ingredients and store them in the fridge.
