I was in Concepcion for two weeks on a study abroad with my university; while our students stayed with host families, my colleague and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. We loved the daily breakfast, lounge area, and welcoming and helpful staff! There is an on-site restaurant if you want to stay in for lunch and or dinner. The hotel location was great for walking to and from our host school as well as close to restaurants, shopping mall, and grocery store. With our busy schedule and the cooler weather, we were unable to enjoy the outdoor pool; it did look super inviting though. My spouse and son also stayed with me for one week; we had a comfortable, clean room. A note for American travelers who like ice (lol)...there is an ice machine right near the breakfast area :) Highly recommend, would stay at this Holiday Inn Express again!
