Enjoy Hotel De La Bahia

If you want to take a shower with ice water, stay at Hotel Enjoy Coquimbo. If you are looking for a bathtub with mushrooms, stay at Enjoy Coquimbo. If you want your room to accumulate 2 days of sand on its stained carpet...stay at Enjoy Coquimbo. It is unfortunate that a hotel with good infrastructure is in such a state of disrepair, with water leaking into the Casino, glass covered by bird feces and indoor pool that is no longer temperate but only mildly warm.

Regardless of the comments read before my arrival, the hotel is quite comfortable and welcoming. There are things to change and improve, such as carpets in the rooms, lobbying and decor in general. But overall my experience was very good; the service (except reception) was very friendly and always attentive to the requirements. The location and view is the best of the hotel, there are restaurants nearby and locals to buy cheaper things. I would definitely return to Coquimbo and stay in the same hotel without problems.

My stay at Enjoy Coquimbo turned out to be one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had in a hotel establishment. It should be noted that this hotel is promoted as a five-star establishment, with rates corresponding to this standard, however, the reality is considerably different from what was promised. From the moment I arrived at the room, there were a number of drawbacks. Wi-Fi service was non-existent, several electrical outlets were inoperative, the air conditioning system had faults and the minibar did not perform its cooling function. These initial problems, unfortunately, were just a prelude to an even more disappointing experience. The overall condition of the room was deplorable. The curtains were broken, the baseboards and paint were in a state of advanced disrepair, and the furniture was completely damaged, unboxed and in poor condition. The sofa showed an unacceptable level of dirt, which negatively impacted the overall perception of the space. Also, the carpet was stained and dirty throughout, conveying a feeling of abandonment and total lack of maintenance. The general impression was that they were in a one-star hotel located in a remote area, rather than an establishment that marketed itself as a five-star hotel and charged rates corresponding to that level. The poor responsiveness of staff to the reported problems further aggravated the experience, generating a sense of frustration and inattention. It is evident that this hotel faces serious maintenance problems, cleanliness standards and quality control. If Enjoy Coquimbo aspires to maintain its position as a top-notch hotel, it is imperative that a thorough renovation and significant improvements to its service processes be implemented. At present, the value for money offered by this property is completely unacceptable. I hope this review will serve as an informative guide for future guests, providing them with a realistic view of what they can expect, and prompt management to take concrete steps to improve the quality of their services. Unfortunately, the current system does not allow me to upload photographs or videos that show the significant deterioration. This deterioration is not limited to the room only, but also encompasses common spaces and emergency glass, indicating a state of widespread abandonment.
