La Serena Plaza

We went to lunch his restaurant, it was very spacious and cute, the waiter who attended us super friendly. The food was delicious, but my husband's lacked more seasoning., we ordered chips and they arrived a bit burned, apart from different packaging (you could tell by the size) The portions we found were super good

Pros: - reasonable decorated and spacious rooms - Good breakfast buffet - Swimming pool and beach is closeby - Modern bathroom Cons: - No WiFi in room, only at reception - Located at the far end of the boulevard. The city centre is also far away - Garden was full with rubish

Unfortunately for me and my family this was the only place available for the dates we wanna to go to La Serena. We let us drive for the pictures showns on their web pages of the common areas. The rooms are old, untidy, windows open but wont close, TV's are older than myself and cable didn't work properly, there is no AC, minibar empty. Bathroom are realy small, there is only showers not bath tabs. Swimming pool didn't look clean. Although all the bad things (that are many) there was a couple that helped a lot to improve: people were realy friendly and always available, breakfast wasn´t that bad they a sort of pastries that was very nice and it is next to the beach and a next to a couple of very good restaurants. i won't use it again unless there is no other place to stay
