Hotel Casa Molino

First, we quoted through external pages. The worst mistake. You need to speak directly with the hotel; the cordiality, concern, and attention are unparalleled, along with options that did not appear on external pages. The reception upon arrival was spectacular, a dinner where they cared about every detail. The room is 10/10, clean, warm, and with an impeccable view of the lake. The dinner on Saturday was unmatched. The lamb was the best I have ever tasted, and the abalone with mayo was exquisite. We will definitely return.

I stayed at Casa Molino with my wife in April 2026 ahead of my participation in a triathlon competition - Puerto Varas 70.3. The region is absolutely gorgeous and Casa Molino is located in a privileged place. It's set in front of Osorno volcano and just sitting or walking in the garden is an experience in itself. You might be surprised like we were by gorgeous birds and rabbits. We ended up enjoying the restaurant for breakfast and dinner almost every day of our stay and we highly recommend the food and the service. Rutilio was most firendly. Geraldine in the reception made all our wishes come true - what a friendly person. She even sorted out my bike issues for the competition! All in all, highly recommend the region, the hotel, the restaurant and most of all, the people working for Casa Molino.

My wife and I only had one night at Casa Molina, a short layover en route from the Argentinian border (driving from Bariloche) and the Puerto Montt airport for an early morning flight. This is a wonderful place, with an incomparable view toward the volcanoes across Lago Llanquihue, a very friendly and helpful staff, and very good if not great in-house dinner. It feels quite isolated, which we liked. I could definitely see spending a few days here and borrowing a bike to explore the town. Otherwise, the taxi from the airport was easy enough. If you want a nice place to stay in Puerto Varas, this is it. I do recommend the big room upstairs with the full wall of windows.
