LOS ALERCES

The hotel is finished in beautiful wood. It is comfortable and boasts fantastic views across the Lake LLanquihue. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. It was a delight to walk from the comfortable bedroom to the dining room.

This hotel was booked as part of a larger itinerary travelling in Chile and Argentina. When I read the reviews on TripAdvisor I have to say I was dismayed. Sadly the place was as described by others. It is very dated and desperately in need of refurbishment. The location and views are stunning the rooms are large, the hotel itself could have so much to offer. I'm pleased to say that there was hot water and the beds are comfy. With investment this place could really be something special

Dirty rooms, useless and disinterested staff, a swimming pool that was advertised but not available. The rooms all needed a complete renovation and the staff needed retraining. I have not one good word to say about this hotel. Please don´t take the risk of ruining your holiday.
