Mela Blu Apartments

Amazing location. The apartment is in the middle of the restaurant place of Lastaria. If you want to taste Chilean local cuisine in the old part of the city than this is the place to be. Clean, comfortable apartment and friendly staff.

A nice apartment in a great area. The apartment was clean and set up adequately for 3 adults. No air conditioning, not really missed, however a larger fan would have been appreciated. We lucked out with a room at the back so we were not disturbed as much by the restaurant noise, but ohh the dogs at 7:00 am were a bit noisy. We too had issues with the door locks, but we managed. So a bit of a mixed review. We were just three nights, and really felt it was a good value for the money. Just a few more comfort features would have been nice.

We stayed here for a few nights early December. The rooms are clean, with a generous kitchen and living space. The bathroom however is a little small but still manageable. The location of the apartment was great - right next to some good restaurants and a train station. It does get a little loud at night on the weekends because it's so close to all the restaurants, this did not bother us at - all an experience. All in all a great stay was had here - however be warned most of the concierge do not speak English (this did not hinder us as one of us could speak a little Spanish).
