When I walked into the hotel you can see in the video that my coat was overtop of my walker. My credit cards didn’t work at the front desk credit card machine. The concierge made me think my cards were the problem and said that unless I paid the equivalent of $400. US dollars, he would not register me. I had told my Canadian bank the countries where I was going, and made sure that there was plenty of money in my accounts. I finally gave him the American money in cash from my reserve money. Then I went to my room where the carpet was stained in several places. I left all my bags and coat in the closet, and went downstairs for dinner, asking at the front desk for extra coat hangers. My credit card worked fine in the restaurant. After dinner I went straight to my room and found 8 hangers on my bed. Someone had brought them while I had dinner.
Next morning when I put the hangers in the closet I saw that my coat was gone.
Since I didn’t take it from the room, and it didn’t walk away, someone must have taken it! I told the concierge, but he didn’t believe me. All my keys were in my coat pocket! The concierge didn’t help me try to find it!
