Sofitel Hefei Grand Park

I stayed in this hotel for 4 weeks in a business trip. The room is large and there are some "new" technologies, like touch controls of the curtains, doorbell and lamps. The main problem in the room is the air conditioning. It does not work satisfatory. The room was always hot. The service was not good. Most of the atendants had problems in understand english. The restaurants availables are just OK. Breakfast has a big variaety of options. Actually, during the day and night the place offers Brazilian BBQ (that is just OK also). Room service menu is limited and, after 21h00, just two dishes are available. I had problems also during the check out. It took me 40 minutes and I just left the hotel without have everything correctly described because I would lose the train if I stayed more time there. Internet is slow, but not different from other China places.

It bedrooms are five stars with big beds and clean, ask to a non smoking room if you are not a smoker, it is quiet and the stafs are very friendly, the breakfast is not so nice to western people, there is a marked near the hotel in the orher side of the avenue. If you want you can order a driver service to reasonable price. It is free to wash two clothes every day.

The rooms were fantastic. They really had everything you need. The service was great and very friendly. I just tried the Brazilian restaurant. This was very good. The breakfast was also very good. The athmosphere is relaxed. The location is not that great, although it is has a nice garden adjacent.
