I stayed at the Double Tree in Suzhou for 45 day, it was a very welcoming experience and I was very well looked after by all staff. I was upgraded to a very large suite and had the perfect time whilst in there.

This is by far the best hotel in Suzhou. Although the hotel isn’t in the most central part of town it’s within walking distance to the huge Wanda Mall (2 blocks away). I booked the most basic room and was very impressed with the size and layout. My husband thought I had booked the suite. We had one meal in the hotel - room service - dishes were local ones that my husband chose. They were very good and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and very professional. I hope the management maintain the current standards - very often hotels in the Mainland fail to do so and they hotels become very run down after a few years. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Suzhou next time.

Stayed recently for work and really enjoyed the stay. The hotel foyer is fantastic and very spacious. The rooms are big and unlike some other hotels in China you can't smell any residual smoke in a non-smoking room. Large room, bath with separate shower and toilet and the room even had a little verandah/balcony which was a great bonus. Breakfast was fantastic with a great range of traditional and western and a lot of freshly cooked options as well. Wifi was great and my Hilton Honours was recognised. Thanks for the stay.
