Crowne Plaza Wuhu

The Crowne Plaza hotel no longer exists as the Crowne Plaza. It has been rebranded as Golden Eagle Summit hotel. I have not stayed there but looked at the hotel from outside and viewed the lobby area. The signage was a lot less foreigner-friendly and I suspect the same goes for the hotel.

Great value. Nearby shopping malls and the famous Food Street. Dedicated service can help to check-out during breakfast. Higher floors and Riverside View room is great choice. Dining experience is wonderful.

This was my first business trip to Wuhu and my first stay at the Crowne Plaza. I had been in Nanjing previously and had a wifi problem.and could not contact the local people I was due to meet in Wuhu. I phoned the hotel and they were incredibly helpful in contacting the local people I was due to meet. They also fixed my wifi problem for me. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff are excellent throughout the hotel. On arrival I was met by the assistant manager. She showed me to my room and checked that my wifi problem had been solved. I ate in the Chinese Restaurant on the third floor and in the main restaurant on the ground floor. The buffet in the main restaurant is excellent. I am back in Wuhu in August on a second business trip. I wouldn't stay anywhere else
