Beijing Shindom-Tiantan East Hotel

This place is quiet near to metro or subway and walkable from the temple of heaven .so location wise its perfect. There is a good supermarket just in front of hotel added advantage to buy fruits and breakfast on the go . Rooms are okay , nothing to complain of , but overall hotel seems little old.The receptionist don't speak or understand English at all ... So for non chinese speaker it is very difficult to get any information here .

We arrived late at night and it was very difficult to find the Hotel. We were for two hours trying to fint the hotel but we gave up and the end, at 3 am. We went to the nearest Hotel and stayed there. Next morning we found this Hotel, but this was the same hotel we went the night before and were send away by the staff. The staff don't speak english so it's very difficult to communicate. When we were planning trips to the Great Wall we went to the nearest five star hotel to get help. We stayed for 7 night but we changed room after the first night. First we got very small, uncomfortable room at the 5th floor (no elevator) and then we got bigger and better room at the first floor. The bed was of course very uncomfortable (like every bed in china) but it was ok. The hotel is very well located. Only 100 meters from the famous Pearl Market and very close to the Temple of Heaven. The metro is also very close by
