City Inn Beijing Happy Valley

Location is great. Near to Tesco, sundry shops, eateries and a local fairground. Room is good. Fair size and clean. Bathroom and shower are okay with hot water, shower gels & shampoos. Only 1 thin pillow per bed. Thankfully we had our travel pillows. Heating system isn't great, tends to automatically lower the temperature even though have set it to higher. Cold room throughout the winter night. The staff cleans the room every day so that's a bonus. Breakfast buffet food didn't have many choices and was repetitive. Same menu every day. Really boring food. Best to stock up on bread, drinks and snacks from the local supermarket. Overall, you get what you paid for ... so this ain't no Hilton ...

City Inn hotel is 3 star hotel. We stayed 3 nights. Room was clean,comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was ok .., not much choice. The front desk staff don't speak English very well. It has shops and restaurant just around the corner.

Not too bad but nothings much for compliments. I stayed 3 nights booked by travel agent, the room look old and smell not fresh. Staff doesn’t speak English , difficult for communicate . The lights in room isn’t work. No mini bar, Breakfast is too bad: nothing to eat and at 6:30am to 7:00am not enough tables for sitting, someone have to standing to eat! The foods terrible too! On third day, they prepare for our group breakfast take away (1 egg, 1 bag of milk, 2 small bread, some of tomato ) Of course, never ever comeback this hotel for sure! Not recommend
