Traders Hotel Beijing By Shangri-La

Terrible experience, I couldn't even taking shower. It's a bit outdated in a nice location. A bulky TV with an old antenna, the lingering smell of cigarettes, and the food on the first floor was not up to par. I really regret staying there with my family. There is no grocery store nearby.

3 nights accommodation. bedmaking, sheets, covers and pillowcases are not replaced I repositioned it neatly and to some extent, I was able to fold the one that also used the towel again and the bathrobe was not changed. Is this some kind of eco-cleaning? I didn't really understand. I told them that it was not good for hygiene and that I wanted them to change it to something new, as they were going to go out and go back to their rooms all day. They exchanged it immediately.

Good location as the CCTV Station is extremely close, meaning you could walk there and snap pictures. There is also a Peking Duck resturant that you can reach if you walk 30 minutes. The hotel was kinda bad. Even our tour guide said that it was not the best. The hotel was fine though for the most part. There are many shops and is conencted to a shopping complex. I got a small needle stuck in my hand and a kind Chinese resturant waiter helped me remove it. Even thoguh the state of the hotel is not the best, the features make up for it
