Beijing Tang House Fuxue Hutong

Not worth the value other than the location. Bad smell in basement, where my room was. Mould broken shower just needs a lot of work. Would i stay again? No not this hotel but area yes. Two min from the subway which is perfect.

We stayed in Tang Fu hotel for 6 nights. When we arrived we were shocked. The room was in the basement, north side, small window, dark, dirty, stinky, wet, the bed was broken and we had two nice pets - huge cockroaches. we were too tired to argue and just went sleeping. The next day we complained and got a room on the south side of the hotel. The room was bigger, the window too, but still in the basement and very wet and stinky. The staff didn't speak any english and they were very unfriendly and unhelpful. On our last day, after check out, we had to wait the whole day, because our train was leaving in the evening. We wanted to use the wifi, to plan our further trip, but they blocked our access and refused to give us a new login code. We would definitely not recomend this hotel. We had the cheapest room, the ones on higher floor are maybe better. But even the cheapest room were quite expensive. So we recommend anyone going to Beijing to book a double room in a nice hostel.

In a very nice local neighborhood. 100+ meters from metro makes getting around convenient and cheap. Rooms average. Nice bathroom. Clean but maid service a bit spotty. About 20 meters off the main road so look up to see the sign for the building. Mgr. speaks English and very helpful. Staff wanted to help but language barrier limited the effort.
