EXCELLENT LOCATION. BUT If you do not speak Chinese - there will be no one to talk to,,, even calling a Taxi was a challenge. Old facility and seems there was no maintenance around. I asked for fresh towel... so I had to bring the used one for exchange....

thx to booking.com good offer (almost half of written on the lobby board). clean small rooms and small plastic bathroom (looks like a bath cabin on a ship). old furniture and hard bed, but I slept very very good, couldnt hardly believe. Forgot to look at the mattress for my own bed. I took it because of silk market and subway, both beside. Wi-fi slow, reception friendly but English speaking low level, but mobile phone translation works it out.

The hotel looks ok from the outside and the reception area and the location is very convenient as it is right next to the Yonganli metro station. But the positives end there. The rooms are old and tiny, with bathroom flooding every time you take a shower. Basically it't too expensive for what you get. The reception staff do not speak any English at all, so communication can be difficult. Stay at another hotel, perhaps one of the courtyard hotels if you'd like a more traditional experience, or the little bit more fancy Fairmont nextdoor.
