Schonbrunn Hotel

Pictures look great, delivery was opposite. Building has nice European facade and a shiny foyer, but the rest is a dump. The unattended grounds and empty fountain are the first clue. No wifi, non functioning AC, dirty and old carpet. 2- star rooms. Dingy hallways barely lit making it difficult to see room numbers. Overnight the room cooled down only to 26 degrees. I pretended I was camping and got through the night just fine. We had two nights reserved but left and went down the street to a Marriott property for less money but several magnitudes in class and comfort.

Like other before we were on a CHEAP Tripadeal China trip and so expected the worst. Well the Schonbrunn was excellent! The hotel from the outside looks wonderful and the foyer grand and beautiful. The room was all that was needed, quiet and clean. Excellent selection Tripadeal!

visited on first night of 2 for 1 Trip a deal expected better carpets need steam clean A/C DID not work bed rock hard could not turn off main lights unless you took key card out of switch no wifi,fridge did not work shower o.k. breakfast anything in bay marie cold eggs and toast were hot but 2 different ques 10 deep most on tour had some complaint room next door bathroom screen&mat black with mold .Also there was a hotel bar only sold beer and vodka staff did not speak english not good as they seem to have 200 tourist a week and there is nowhere out side u could walk to for food or drink at lest 1hr. from C.B.D.
