Extremely disappointing stay at Four Points by Sheraton Beijing. We booked this Marriott because the listing clearly stated the rooms had air conditioning, but our room was 26°C and unbearably hot. When we complained, the front desk said management had turned off all AC and told us to open the window — in the noisy center of Beijing, right beside a construction site. Completely unacceptable for a hotel in this price range. The restaurant was also closed at 9 PM even though it was advertised to close at 10:30 PM, forcing us to find dinner elsewhere after a long flight and without speaking Chinese. On top of that, the staff spoke almost no English, and we had to communicate using Google Translate. We’ve stayed at many Marriott hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst experience. The property does not live up to Marriott standards — misleading listing, poor service, and terrible comfort.

Great location near the metro and just 10 minutes from a big mall. The staff are super courteous and helpful — they even upgraded my room and arranged breakfast for my wife. Special mention to Mr. Owen Zhang, whose warm and helpful presence at the front desk truly makes the stay a charm. Highly recommend for the peaceful location and amazing staff, they go a long way in making you feel welcomed and special. Highly recommended for business and family stays.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I stayed here twice—once in 2022 and again in 2025—and noticed a clear decline in service, cleanliness, and overall experience. Despite paying for a higher-tier room, the cleanliness was questionable. After a four-day stay, I became seriously ill, though the exact cause remains unclear. The check-in process was poorly managed, and the front desk staff seemed inexperienced and struggled with basic English communication. The restaurant and breakfast have maintained their usual standards. However, the bar/lounge remains overpriced—charging RMB80 for a single apple juice unreasonable. Overall, this stay was deeply disappointing.
