Mi Lano Hotel

What a dump! Our flight got cancelled and the airline put us up here. I could see the Westin in the near distance and was dreaming of the soft beds and customer service oriented staff. I was appalled at how we were treated at the front desk. No one spoke English (which I am used to since I live in China) but when I tried to use my translator, the front desk woman looked at my phone, rudely said something in Chinese, and then ignored me. I was asking when our flight might be. The room reeked of smoke and oldness, the beds were like my college futon, and it was stuffy and hot in the room. All we could is laugh because what else could we do at this point? Obviously I don't expect any Westerners to ever stay here but it is truly the crappiest hotel I've ever been in and I have travelled around the world and been to third-world countries.
