We had a wonderful family stay at Grand Hyatt Beijing. The suite apartment was extraordinary — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The breakfast was excellent, and the pool with its beautiful scenery was a highlight. A special thank you to Mr Scott for his incredible support in arranging our Great Wall of China excursion. His care and attention made the experience even more memorable. A truly memorable stay with exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended!

The hotel is comfortable, clean and in a very central location, but considering the price, it didn’t offer the value we expected. Our room overlooked a normal city street rather than having any memorable view, and entering or leaving the hotel by car often involved heavy traffic. We also found the concierge service less helpful than expected for a luxury hotel. We asked for assistance with organising sightseeing, but they were unable to help. The restaurant recommended by the hotel told us that one of the signature dishes on the menu was sold out, although we later discovered it was actually available. Breakfast offered a good variety and the quality was good, but there was a long queue to get in. Overall, it felt fairly ordinary for a hotel in this price range. On the positive side, a couple of staff members were genuinely kind and went out of their way to help us. They made several phone calls to assist us in finding a particular item we wanted to buy, and we really appreciated their effort. Overall, this is a good hotel in a convenient location, but given the premium price, we expected a more memorable experience and a higher level of service. If it were significantly cheaper, I would happily stay here again, but at its current price I don’t think it represents good value.

I stayed here for 3 nights and applied a GOH and had a solid stay. The stay felt a bit weird as I think its currently undergoing renovations to its rooms, which I must say are definitely necessary. With my GOH, I was upgraded to a massive suite, but it felt quite odd as the suite was mostly empty with just a couch in the middle of a huge living room. Despite this, I was still appreciative of the upgrade and will say that the room will likely be renovated or should be soon. The older rooms definitely felt old, especially when you walk to the newer side of the hotel and the vibe completely changes. Additionally, my check-in experience was not very smooth as I arrived around 3:30 and was continually told that my room would be ready in 20 minutes when it wasn't until 4:30 PM. It was not a huge deal, but definitely something to note as it was a bit annoying. The location of the hotel; however, is quite good as its connected a large shopping center with many dining and shopping options. Additionally, the metro is also close by and the Wangfujing pedestrian street is just steps away from the hotel. With my GOH, I also had access to the Grand Club and thought it was very well stocked and the happy hour service was very extensive and contained more than enough tasty options to suffice as dinner. The breakfast offerings were equally as good, but I was disappointed to find that I could not use the main restaurant for breakfast despite Globalist status. All in all, the stay was good and the location of the hotel is also quite good. I think after the renovations of the older rooms, the hotel will feel a lot more complete there won't be such a drastic difference from one side of the hotel to the other.
